This morning I found the true swan lake. Daybreak is now mid-February already at 7.15 a.m. in Denmark, so after taking the kids to school, I decided to go for a small drive into the blue with my camera. Driving by a lake – which is actually an old lignite pit – covered in ice, I sighted more than 100 swans, ducks and geese, some resting on the ice, others feeding in the open water. The morning was quite foggy, so the photos are not that good, but you could clearly see all the beautiful birds on the lake. A bit further, I also saw a lot of deer grassing on a field.
Temperatures will go down again this week, dropping down to -10°C , I guess this means I need to buy more bird seed.
