This is what a Danish “bright night” is like – and yes it does get dark, but you still see a glow in the horizon.
It’s an essential part of summer “hygge” in Denmark. We barbecue, drink buckets of rosé, stay outside until late, just enjoying life. The kids play football or jump the trampoline until later and go directly into a healthy “coma” when it’s bedtime.
