Last night we had friends over for dinner. It got late, but not that late…
I guess we were in bed at 12.30 am.
Today, I got up at 6.30, emptied the dishwasher and filled it again. Sent my husband and middle son to football in Juelsminde, so they’ll be away for some hours. The two others are still asleep. Right now I’m enjoying the sunshine and looking forward to next week.
Friday I went to a meeting with my adviser at the job centre. Right before the meeting I noticed a small brochure from a supplier of training.
I didn’t have time to look into it, so I just brought it with me to the meeting. My adviser immediately saw the brochure and asked if there were any trainings I was interested in. My job search log was perfect, so she was very positive.
I opened the brochure and saw a training for WordPress. That was exactly what I’ve been dreaming of. “Ok, let’s book it“, she said and booked me for the next training in October. “Anything else? If there are more trainings you’d like, let’s book them right away“. So now I’m also booked for SEO training all next week in Vejle.
Two courses I really, really would like to have, but never would have paid for myself as they are very expensive. But like she said “You will never get a job before November, since most companies have long hiring processes, so why not spend you time on something useful, while waiting for the right job?”
I almost fell of my chair! The best thing; I don’t need to apply for any jobs next week.
Morning temperatures have dropped from 22°C to 7°C within the last weeks. Autumn is slowly setting in. Some branches on the apple tree broke due to the weight of the many, many apples. That’s really a pity, but that’s how it is.
The sky is clear blue today, the sunlight has changed from bright yellow to a warm reddish hue, making colours on trees and flowers more vibrant and deep. Day temperatures should remain around 20-23°C next week. That’s perfect, I hope for an Indian Summer all September.
