Monday morning, the sun has not yet decided to shine and bring us warmth.
Last week, we had so many birds colliding or flying into the orangery.
The cat ate some and today I found this female blackbird outside.
Is a shame that our garden birds die, if it can be avoided. My youngest brought an art project home from school Friday. A red bird with scary claws.
Now the bird has been hung up above the doors, hopefully to scare off the birds. If it doesn’t work, next step will be to put on some stickers…
The windows will also not be cleaned more this season. The pollen and dust on the windows was washed away by the rain last week. Then the birds started to fly into the windows, so obviously clean windows are nice to look at, but kills the birds.
Meanwhile, I like to watch the pigeons grassing on the lawn. The squirrel also visits, but he’s too quick and doesn’t like to be photographed.
Later today I will go to my usual Monday meeting on the old hospital and the hostel. I must also check the job adds and hope to get an answer about a special job I have applied for. Right now, up to the summer holidays, there are not many jobs to apply for. So I’ve decided to enjoy summer and hope the right job suddenly comes to me in August or September…
